Bensalem Police swear in first police chaplain

The Bensalem Township Police Department announced it has sworn in its first police chaplain. On Thursday, March 11, Mark White was sworn in by Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo to fulfill the duties of police chaplain.

The chaplain program is designed to provide comfort and spiritual support to all members of the Department of Safety, as well as members of the community when requested.

Chaplain White brings prior experience from his service in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and is a resident of Bensalem Township.
